More often than not, a picture speaks a thousand words. Some pictures, however, try to be succinct and end up being speechless. I got a forwarded mail today, with some of the strangest and the funniest examples of why some pictures shouldn’t speak at all! :D

I am still laughing. I cannot be sure about the source of thses images as none was mentioned in the mail. So, if any of you feel that I have sinned, let me know and I’ll try to get the source. :D

In the first photograph – the people working in the establishment must be working overtime. :)

2. soham - July 24, 2008

Open 25/ 8 / 367 days !! ..

This looks cool ..

Nice pics though .. quite funny !!

3. Shefaly - July 24, 2008

Nikhil:

The first picture is existentially profound. Perhaps they are questioning the sexagesimal basis of measuring time? May be their hourglass is off? Or may be they aren’t setting their watches to Cesium after all?

Chick point? Remind me to tell you a story about it :-)

And the last one? Well, in the UK, we can buy packs of cashews, which say “Contains nuts”. The law requires them to display warning signs on things that contain nuts so to limit their liability, they do, and how!

Back to writing actual words, where a picture won’t suffice…

6. Perx - July 24, 2008

Hey maybe in the first pic, they are trying to say open for 25 hours a week or a year, maybe…
the second one could as well be a pimp’s point.. u never know
maybe the third one was somewhere where they had just installed a new lift, like a town or something…
really they could all just be real photos if u think deeply for a moment….;)

7. vishesh - July 24, 2008

blah blah blah the men in the second are so desperate….. .

8. Nikhil - July 24, 2008

“Press up to up.
Press down to go down.”

Now, if I had known this earlier, I wouldn’t have had to take the stairs every time. Nikhil my friend, you have shown me the light!

Cheers,

I commented thrice but my office firewall was stronger than me :(

Anyways this is incomplete…I mean if i want to stay in the lift then what??? :D

And if I want a male chick then what :D

hehehe thanks for the daily dose of smiles :)

13. Shefaly - July 24, 2008

@ Nikhil:

If there were 25 hours in a day, I would sleep for 1 more hour. :-)

Nuts, without warning, can kill those who are allergic ;-) Whose caveat?

14. harshasrisri - July 24, 2008

@Nik : Do i need to say again that the pics are superb…?
another source for such blunders are the sticker-ads in BMTC busses… i found many but could capture only one bcoz of rush-hour travel… ‘ll try to post it when i’ve got a good collection… :D

@S : press the buttons alternatively to remain in the lift… that way it keeps moving and u wont feel like getting out.

@Shefaly : I’m game for that extra sleep dude… in fact the longest i’ve slept continuously is for 18 hrs…

20. Anshul - July 25, 2008

In my city, there was a small confectionery cum tea shop named “Gay Point”. The owner removed the signage after 7-8 months, I think someone must have either told him or some related community must have flocked in there.

You can forward the 25hr pic to the failblog. :)

21. Anshul - July 25, 2008

I think above two images are carrying the name of the source.

22. Joel - July 25, 2008
